U.S. ITC made a partial final ruling on the investigation of specific agricultural packaging materials

On October 5, 2020, the U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC) issued a notice stating that it has issued a partial final determination in the investigation of Certain Agricultural Packaging Materials (Wrapping Material and Methods For Use InAgricultural Applications, Investigation Code: 337-TA-1210): the initial determination (Order No. 6) made by the administrative law judge in this case on September 18, 2020 is not subject to review. That is, the investigation against Gosun Business Development Co. Ltd. of Canada was terminated based on a consent order.

On August 5, 2020, the U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC) voted to initiate a 337 investigation into certain agricultural packaging materials (Wrapping Material and Methods For Use In Agricultural Applications) (Investigation Code: 337-TA-1210).

On July 7, 2020, Tama Group of Israel and Tama USA Inc. of Dubuque, Iowa filed a petition for a 337 investigation with the ITC, claiming that the products exported to the U.S., imported into the U.S. and sold in the U.S. infringed their patent rights (U.S. Registered Patent No. 6787209) and requesting the ITC to issue a limited exclusion order and injunction.
